When Lara Croft emerged in 1994 the character took the games market by storm, spawning many a teenage boys hours of enjoyment through gaming. Getting the right Lara is always the challenge and after the first movie franchise the task got even harder. However when the games were rebooted it opened the door to explore a different version of the iconic character. This feels rawer and less cheesy than the first two films but it fails to really engage with the story it has. It's a shame because one day we will hopefully have a movie franchise that matches the greatness that is Tomb Raider...
