As you may have noticed I have lost faith in Netflix's ability to produce worthwhile material, the list goes on and on of huge budget projects that have s****y scripts, average directing and mediocre acting. Projects with big names attached that should on paper be huge blockbusters. With that in mind I certainly wasn't expecting much with this latest release into the Netflix back catalogue. To my surprise I thoroughly enjoyed it, a new take on the violent action film based around pacifying rather than killing. It is very much a slow burner but when it gets into it there is captivating and well choreographed scenes.
Worth a watch: 100%
Entertaining: Very much so
Farquaad's View: I loved the alternative take on action scenes, pacify not killing
