Ice Road Truckers showed the world the dangers of transporting heavy loads to the arctic circle, so it was inevitable one day someone would make an action movie relating to it. Thus we have Liam Neeson as an aging down and out trucker who needs to deliver good to save a group of trapped minors. There has to be an element of dramatisation, I get that, but the errors, lack of time awareness and downright dumbf**k things that happen make this so far out of the realms of reality. From 1mile turning into 6km, seatbelts being cut and then magically repaired, immunity to hypothermia, trees appearing and disappearing, the laws of ice road physics ignored to name but a few. If you can ignore reality then its actually quite entertaining.
