Over the years I sense this has become a classic, its so silly that it can now be adored for the stupidity of action movies of the time. With its over acting, over played action scenes and attempts at jump scares it is in truth an awful film. Of course it has the late 90's orchestral soundtrack, failing in its attempts to intensify even the most mundane scenes and even a joke about black characters being the first to die. One thing this movie taught me is that sharks don't swim backwards... every day is a school day!!
